As generally the only woman on the team, experience showed me that often my understanding of situations and the best path forward was frequently quite different from many of male co-workers. Often what is seen as a favorable trait in a male leader is unfavorable in a female leader. Even in a very accepting environment, these differences persist. How do you best navigate those challenges?
